GARDENA, CA (April 9, 2026) Gardena will hold a Statewide Direct Primary Election on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Voters are urged to plan ahead by reviewing available voting options, including vote-by-mail, secure ballot drop boxes, and in-person vote centers.
What appears on the ballot in Gardena
The upcoming election includes five open elected positions:
Mayor
Two City Council seats
City Treasurer
City Clerk
The office of Mayor is on the ballot, and incumbent Mayor Tasha Cerda is seeking re-election.
WAYS TO VOTE
Vote by Mail
Each active registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot.
Ballots begin mailing by May 4, 2026.
A completed ballot can be returned:
